Description
Position Purpose:
To perform the duties of both systems analyst and .NET programmer by analyzing, designing, developing, testing, deploying, enhancing and supporting software applications for the Division, while utilizing the latest technologies and industry standards.
Essential Functions:
1. Application Analysis, Design, and Development
%26bull; Perform discovery with end-users and stakeholders to analyze processes and existing systems in place, while giving guidance on new and current system design and capabilities.
%26bull; Assist in developing project scope documents to gather user requirements, including times lines and milestones.
%26bull; Design and develop front-end and back-end systems using provided software and the most appropriate technologies.
%26bull; Perform testing and debugging of new and existing applications for deployment.
%26bull; Assist with providing technical and user-friendly manuals of all new systems.
%26bull; Assist with end-user and stakeholder demonstrations and training.
%26bull; Continue research and education on best practices and new technologies and apply to new and existing projects.
2. Databases, Data Integration, and Support
%26bull; Provide guidance with new and existing EP&T projects, data transactions, and reporting.
%26bull; Design and development of data integration packages for communication between shop floor system and the ERP system(s).
%26bull; Design and development of data warehousing for reporting and/or dashboard purposes.
%26bull; Maintain data integrity and reliability between systems.
%26bull; Perform SQL performance tuning and maintenance as needed.
%26bull; Ensure all stored procedures are accurate and successfully running.
%26bull; Create and maintain SQL Server jobs running on all SQL servers.
%26bull; Design and develop MS SQL databases as needed for new projects.
%26bull; Modify existing MS SQL databases as needed for existing applications.
3. Technical Support and Maintenance
%26bull; Provide help desk support to identify and resolve system issues for applications such as DataTraax, ACTION, CER, Warranty Claims, and EP&T.
%26bull; Analysis and troubleshooting of programming, logic, and database problems.
%26bull; Implement modifications and enhancement packages to existing applications when needed.
%26bull; Provide continuous updates for user / technical manuals and training materials. Offer end user training and support when needed.
%26bull; Provide technical advice and support to users. This includes creating ad-hoc reports, data analysis and correction, training and problem solving.
%26bull; Mentor and train other IT personnel as required.
%26bull; Provide support and maintenance to all ten SQL servers and six web servers being utilized, along with setting up of new servers as needed.
%26bull; Work with IT Operations group to coordinate server maintenance and backup procedures.
%26bull; Assist other IT personnel with tasks as needed, such as Showcase, limited KBM support, or limited Configurator support.
%26bull; Provide support to Configurations with the Configurator server and vendor software.

Qualifications
Education and Training:
%26bull; Bachelor%26rsquo;s degree in a computer%26ndash;related field required, preferably in programming and/or database design.
Minimum Qualifications:
%26bull; Minimum of five years%26rsquo; programming experience, preferably using Microsoft Visual Studio within a manufacturing environment.
%26bull; Experience with shop floor systems, machines, and PLCs is a definite plus.
%26bull; Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Studio, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, JQuery/JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 experience.
%26bull; Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
%26bull; Ability to apply IT solutions to business problems.
%26bull; Ability to interface with customers and provide group and/or one-on-one support and training.
%26bull; Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
%26bull; Ability to travel to plant sites as needed.
%26bull; Must exhibit the highest professionalism, self-initiative, enthusiasm, and work ethic.
Physical Demands:
%26bull; Frequent sitting, work at computer for extended periods of time.
%26bull; Ability to travel to plant sites as needed.
Environmental Conditions:
%26bull; Office setting.
%26bull; Minimal exposure to R&D lab and manufacturing setting.
